{Flash Cast » Mirror Plot Debriefing

OKAY SO. I've talked various things with people, but IDK if I've ran the full thing down to EVERYONE??? So that's what this is. Especially because it's hard for me to remember who I've said what to. SO LIKE....yeah. Flash-and-adjacent Cast Debriefing time.
* Once upon a time, I went and asked the mods what happens if Cisco opened a breach in Wonderland, or tried to. Would it work, would there be weird reactions, does he get headaches or nosebleeds, etc... And they basically gave me some guidelines; he can't break the game, obvz~ but it might work, it might not; it might send him 3ft to the left or onto the roof, it might try to open and fizz out, etc...I was given options and leeway to play around with it, if it ever came up.
WELL IT DID when Jessie started talking to me about Fitz's attempts at getting the hell outta dodge because wow, okay, this unapproved vacay is great and all but BYE FELICIA.
* So over the last little while, Cisco has been working with Fitz on his little pet project. The discovery of Cisco's breach powers sorta thrust the whole thing into high gear because OMG DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH CLOSER WE ARE JUST FOR THIS !!! It's super exciting fake science babble up in dis piece, y'all!!!
* More idle plotty chats led to us going "lol, but what if the breach opened up to the mirror side and he got swapped out." Monkie was already talking about doing some mirror shenanigans with Mick/Chronos and we all ended up deciding to try and combine our plot ideas. Which, of course, meant it was time for mod involvement!
* This is currently where we sit. So far, we know they are going to let us do shenanigans. We know it's happening early to mid May, involved mirrors will definitely be punished, involved Reals may suffer somehow but it was undecided last contact we had so no idea on the specifics, there. But the Queen ain't gonna be happy and there will be consequences. Aaand we're supposed to hear back sometime this weekend about things for final details and such.
* More or less, during the course of m!Cisco and Cisco being swapped out.... m!Cisco will be doing his best imitation of his Real. He's been watching and studying when and where he could. Mannerisms, speech styles, the whole nine, he's practiced, he will be Very Convincing as Cisco. BUT I'll be throwing some things in here and there at random for people to potentially pick up on every now and again.
He's pretty much just gonna try to wreck Cisco's friendships so that when he comes back, he won't have anyone to lean on. I MEAN. That's his plan. Whether it works or not is up to you/how your character reacts.
NOTE: I'm just gonna say right now, IF YOUR CHARACTER WOULD ICly REACT BADLY BECAUSE OF ANYTHING THAT COMES UP DURING THIS..... please, please, please feel free to go buck wild with negative CR. I am 1000% fine with it, here for it, not gonna take it personally. I love negative CR, gimmehaveit if you have a reason for it. I will eat it up, okay? Okay. <3 <3 <3
While he's stuck over on the mirror side, Cisco's gonna be going through some bad stuff with m!Fitz and m!Caitlin, for sure. I....have discussed so many various forms of psychological style things I don't remember what all has been landed on, but it's gonna be A Lot and it's gonna leave him rather wrecked when he gets back. So that'll be a fun load of stuff to work through later >_>
NOW. As far as what your characters do/don't know from Cisco....
* They are absolutely free to know he's working on project(s) outside of the Team Flash lab. They probably know that he's working with Fitz on SOMETHING. But I don't think he's actually mentioned specifically what he's doing, though. ....Team SHIELD lab hangers-around might be more aware, since he's, like there doing things with Fitz? But yeah, I don't know how much Cisco himself has actually mentioned to anybody from home... ...which is mostly my own fail in not...having him...say things??? and having such weird ups & downs in my playing the last little while.
BUT I am swinging this as HE DIDN'T WANNA BOTHER SAYING ANYTHING OR GETTING ANYONE'S HOPES UP BECAUSE HE REALLY ISN'T SURE IT'LL WORK SO....he'll just wait until he knows it does definitively work and THEN he'll babble about it because it's not a "what if", it's a "guys, we can go home" and that sounds a lot better. LOOK. OKAY. NOBODY SAID CISCO IS KING OF LOGIC AND REASON, ALL RIGHT. don't judge him/me. lolol
OR if you want, because it feels too backwards/weird/out of sorts/etc... for him NOT to have told your character, hmu, we'll figure this out, and handwave him having said something.
Once we have the finalized deets from the mods on whatever they're chatting out about this, I'll update ya'll with all of that. Should be soon, hopefully!!! And we'll plot and plan to our heart's content.
Buuuuut....yeah. Overall, I think that's about the majority of the basics of things? Unless anyone else wants to add in something I went space cadet on and forgot! I sorta slapped this little debriefing post together all rambly-like, so I won't be surprised if it's awkward or doesn't make the most sense. If you have questions, plz feel free to ask. And if you want more involvement in all of this, plz lemme know. We'll swing it!!
P.S. I apologize for not getting something like this up and out sooner, I kinda thought I'd have more solid deets and dates before I threw up a thing like this but now I'm like CRAP I need to make sure EVERYONE IS IN THE KNOW. YO. Got the dates from the mods this AM, guys. We'll get this rolling May 14th. The science poking holes in Wonderland bit of this plot will start and then other stuff something something mod-sworn secrecy stuff I can't mention will be happeniiiiiing. GET HYPE Y'ALL! I sure am !!!!
